International Dyslexia Conference coming to Telford!

 

The BDA International Dyslexia Conference is coming to Telford!

It is with great delight that we can now share the news with you that in April 2018 the British Dyslexia Association will hold their biannual International Conference & Expo at the Telford International Centre.

This will be the 11th British Dyslexia Association’s International Conference (IC) and EXPO, which is a leading conference on Dyslexia/Specific Learning difficulties, offering the latest in research and practice, exciting developments and inspiration.

The Theme is ‘Evidence and Back Again’ with confirmed keynote speakers Professor Victor Van Daal, Edge Hill University and Professor Susan Gathercole, Cambridge university, the event looks to be a really interesting one!

Elizabeth Wilkinson, local dyslexic and dyslexia awareness campaigner and philanthropist; founder of Dyslexia information Day and Dyslexia Awards, said she ‘is over the moon that the BDA have chosen to come to Telford’ and admitted that ‘The BDA had contacted me a little while ago, to ask if I would be involved’ Elizabeth went on to day that she was ‘totally honoured and delighted to be part of it!’
